Paint & Benchtops

We went back to the house yesterday, to meet up with our landscapers from Gardens Etc. so we could walk out where and how we wanted our landscaping to be. We are so excited with what we have come up with! We also had a look and the Caesarstone benchtops have been installed, along with the roof being painted and a border of colour on the walls! Take a look:

Nathan got a phone call today from the builders and they have informed us that we will now recieve the keys in the third week of March instead of early April! That's next month!!!!!

TILES!

There aren't many photos of this because we can't actually get into our house. But they have done all the tiling in the laundy (shown in picture), bathroom and ensuite! We are having these tiles throughout the whole house. I can't wait to share more photos with you and sorry about the lack of photos in this post. But stay posted, there will be more!

We have cupboards!

I went to the house on the weekend, and luckily there was a worker inside (again!) delivering tiles for our bathrooms, so he allowed us to walk inside and have a look! We now have cupboards! We have kitchen cupboards and bathroom cupboards! Arghh, it gets more exciting the more and more I talk about it!!! Tomorrow, I plan on going to the house and hopefully will be able to see the tiling work done in the bathrooms, so stay posted. What's happened after the Christmas break...

Last night, I went back to the house for the first time since before Christmas. The render on the front has been done, and so has all the gyprocking and the insulation!!! I couldn't beleive it. The rendering hasn't been painted yet, but it still looks amazing!

We have a house.. The outside at least!

In this post, you will see that all the brickwork and roof tiling is el completo. We are very happy with the turn out!!!  The thing I like about our house compared to the rest is that it's different. So far, we are the only house with the Villa Orange roof tiles :) 

Brickwork had begun!

Wow! It's been a long time since I've last updated this - but I hope you all understand that leading up to Christmas can be hectic! Since the last post, so much has happened! Below you will see photos of the brickwork in process. It was so cool to go back to the block every few days and see how much they have done. While they were doing the brick work, they also began to do the roof tiles! Have a look for yourself!
